Killswitch is a band that started up in Massachusetts by Howerd Jones and some other friends. In this album their song "As Daylight Dies" really shows what kind of style the are into. The first week that this album went on store shelves people bought them. They sold about 60,000 copies just in that one week. One of the reasons that I like their music is because it gets me energized. Even thought you can't really understand what they are saying you can still listen to the many guitar solos. The one reason that I like then the most is because in most screamo or metal band the vocalist is Caucasian, but Howard Jones; KsE's vocalist, is African American. It's kind of like how Eminem is a white rapper when most are African American so that kind of stood out to me. If you have never heard them before, you should definitly listen for yourself.

Bill Haley & His Comets: Rock Around the Clock
This song is pretty cool, The title makes me think that its some kind of Christmas song but it's not. It interesting what he talks about in the song. Its a pretty fast pace song, and funny about what hes talking about when every hour come. He does something different each hour. There's also a pretty cool guitar solo in the beginning.

The Platters: Only You
Ok the only thing that I don't like about this is that I think that its to slow even though its made to be a slow kind of love song. This kind of reminds me of the songs that they play in comedies. The lead singer has a very good voice that is backed-up with the singers in the background which makes it sound good. It's easy to understand what he is saying unlike some other songs where the music is louder that the vocals. So I think that its a pretty good song.

Little Richard: Tutti Frutti
This is a song that you could definitley dance to and have a good time listening to. When he does that high pitch voice you can tell the kind of style of singing he uses in his songs. He has a raspy voice which I think kind of makes the song alittle bit better. I can imagin this song being played in some kind of club. Theres is a pretty cool Saxaphone solo in the middle of the song which lets you here how fast there playing.
